On 2-Pay Split-Pay plans (Tier 1B 2x $448.50, Tier 2 Setup 2x $1,250, Tier 3 Setup 2x $5,000), you receive your commission on Payment 1 when it clears Day 1, and your commission on Payment 2 when it clears on Day 30.
Never. Because we use the Cash-Cleared Payout Rule, Part 1 is cleared on Day 1 and Part 2 sits in awaiting_payment_2 until Day 30. If Payment 2 fails, Part 2 is simply cancelled and you keep 100% of your Day 1 payout with zero clawbacks.
Once you cross into a higher bracket ($5,000 @ 35%, $10,000 @ 40%, $20,000+ @ 45%), your status is locked for a full 12 months (`rate_locked_until`). You never suffer arbitrary monthly demotions.
